Election Information for Voters

When, where and how to vote?

Mark your calendars! 


The Township of Esquimalt Municipal Election is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 8am-8pm. 


You can vote in-person or by mail. 


General Voting Day will take place at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street. 


Voters should bring a photo ID and proof of address. 


In addition to General Voting Day on October 17th at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, there will be two advance voting opportunities on October 7th and October 14th at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre.


On all voting days, the polls will be open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.

In-Person Voting Opportunities

General Voting Day 

Date: Saturday, October 17th  

Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm  

Place: Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street

 

First Advance Poll 

Date: Weds, October 7th  

Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm  

Place: Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street

 

Second Advance Poll  

Date: Weds, October 14th 

Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm  

Place: Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street

Voting takes place at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre located at 527 Fraser Street.

Vote By Mail Option:

For your convenience, the Township of Esquimalt allows voters the option to vote by mail using a special mail ballot, but you must apply in advance to do so.
